At Mandarin Gallery, we take special pride in housing some of the best Singaporean fashion and lifestyle brands. Although we hate to play favourites, we cannot help but be particularly thrilled with Atomi’s keen eye for good design and uncompromising focus on high quality craftsmanship. If you are part of its steadily growing pool of admiring fans, we have good news. Atomi has opened a second boutique gallery in January 2012, just two units away from its original space! That means double the amount of made-in-Japan goodness to look forward to in the new year.
To complement it’s existing boutique, which stocks housewares, wood crafts, glass wares, linen collection, aromatherapy, fashion accessories and bags, the new store will be specializing in artisanal furniture from Maruni Wood Industry, Nissin Furniture Crafters, Oak Village, Asahineko and Toshiyuki Kita. Lighting, home accessories and linen will also be on offer.
The second boutique’s more home décor-based inventory is a response to demands from Atomi’s industrial customers, including restaurants, retailers, architects and interior designers. To meet this rising appreciation for Japanese designed and crafted products, Atomi has added a Japanese product manager to its able team in order to better understand the needs of its customer base and procure suitable products to meet these needs.
Expanding the Atomi team has also freed up time for more trips to Japan to establish new contacts while strengthening the existing brands. Not contend to rest on their laurels and with regional expansion as the long-term goal, husband-and wife founders Andrew and Mitsuko hope to constantly add to the carefully curated collection of products that are exclusively retailed and distributed by Atomi.
Atomi’s new boutique gallery will be located at #04-29, literally a stone throw from its orignal store at #04-27, Mandarin Gallery
